About This Course

Most risk training treats risk as something to get rid of. Every complex system carries risk, so driving it to zero was never the job.

This course treats risk as a portfolio you manage on purpose. You build a risk matrix for your own systems, score it without inflating or hiding anything, and keep it alive as the system changes. The matrix is a real artifact, and a template comes with the course.

Then you use it. The matrix is what turns “we should really fix that” into an argument a roadmap owner will act on.

The course assumes you have a system with real risk in it and a manager to bring the high-high list to. It assumes nothing about formal risk, audit, or compliance experience, and there is no certification prep here.

Course Structure

Six modules, about 12 hours total. Eighteen video lessons, eighteen companion readings, and a practice and a graded assignment in every module.

The modules move in order. Risk as an architectural responsibility, building the risk matrix, keeping the matrix alive, acting on risk, risk as a leadership tool, and risk in AI-enabled systems.
